2012 Honda Classic Odds Headlined by Rory McIlroy, Tiger Woods, And Lee Westwood
Tiger Woods took to the podium on Wednesday at the Honda Classic, as he tees it up for the first time ever in that event.
Oddsmakers think that he will play a major factor, installing him as one of the favorites to win the golf tournament.
Though it’s Rory McIlroy who gets the edge as the overall favorite.
McIlroy is going off at 15/2 as the favorite, with Woods going off at 11/1, along with Lee Westwood.
Still, as always, Woods is the talk of any tournament in which he enters, and is ready to take on this Jack Nicklaus course this week.
But one of the main topics discussed on Wednesday was Woods’ former swing coach Hank Haney releasing an excerpt of his book entitled ‘The Big Miss’ an account of his years spent with Woods.
“I think it’s unprofessional and very disappointing,” Woods said, “especially because it’s someone I worked with and trusted as a friend.”
Wood will tee it up on Thursday with Westwood and Ian Poulter, in one of the marquee groupings of the first two days.
Plenty of betting lines will be available throughout the course of the week in addition to the overall odds to win the tournament.
There will be 3-ball and head-to-head odds already formed for the opening rounds, as well as for each round following.
Revised betting odds will also be formed following the completion of each round.
