American Idol Betting Focuses on Top 12

American Idol now has the top 12, as 4 more contestants were sent home after a shocking elimination night. From here on out, each and every performance will need to be the performance of a lifetime if the contestants want to see themselves sticking around until the May 26th finale. Making it to the top 12 means that America has taken notice to their talent, which is exactly the next step in moving towards the career of a professional singer. While the competition gets harder each week, now is the time to shine for the judges and really make their presence in the entertainment business known.
For four of American Idol’s top 24, Lilly Scott, Todrick Hall, Alex Lambert, and Katelyn Epperly, the journey has been cut short as the last elimination sent them, and their dreams of becoming the next American Idol, packing. Lilly Scott had been a fan favorite from the very start of the show, which goes to show that America is in charge of the voting, and without fans voting for their favorite, the chances are quickly shortened for even the best performers.
The good news about being this far into the competition is that only one singer will be eliminated each week, dragging on what seems to be the endless journey to crowning the next American Idol. Although we are still months away from the finale, it should move very quickly. We will see the competition narrowed down to the best of the best, one week at a time.
