American Idol Contestants Get A Little Help From Harry Connick Jr

With more than 33 million votes down on the books for this season of American Idol, there were not enough votes to keep Siobhan Magnus around for one more week. Siobhan Magnus, who is well known for her screaming performances, was the most recent Idol to leave the competition. Although many believe her time had certainly come and gone, her positive attitude will be missed not only be her fellow idol contestants and the judges, but by anyone who was touched by this up and coming star.
Harry Connick Jr joins the American Idol crew this week, acting as a mentor and guiding the contestants through the Frank Sinatra song book. Frank Sinatra is one of the most beloved performers of all time and will certainly give the contestants something to sing about with his wonderful selection of inspiring songs.
Aaron Kelly, Casey James, Michael Lynch, Lee DeWyze and Crystal Bowersox are American Idol Season 9′s top 5 performers. There has been many ups and downs in season 9, and now is the time that these top 5 really need to give the performance of a life time. Each and every time they take that stage from here on out, they have to act as if this is their final audition to making it in the entertainment industry. If they sing from the heart it will show through in every performance, which is what makes up a true performer.
