College Basketball Betting Odds Set No.25 Wisconsin As Favorites Over No.18 Indiana
It’s a top-25 match up in the Big Ten in College Basketball on Thursday night, when the No.17 Indiana Hoosiers travel to Madison to take on the No.25 Wisconsin Badgers.
Both teams have struggled in conference play some this season, but have gotten back on the winning side of things of late.
The Badgers come into this one riding on the heels of a four-game win streak, while the Hoosiers bounced back after a loss with a win in their last outing over Penn State. That victory snapped a three-game losing steak for Indiana.
The Hoosiers came away with a 73-54 victory over Penn State.
“As I told them, 16 wins, 16 different ways,” Indiana head coach Tom Crean said. “If you do it right, you just take the experience from those games and it helps you somewhere along the line.”
Wisconsin’s win over then-No.22 Illinois over the weekend was enough to put them back inside the top-25 this week.
And a win over Indiana would only move them further in.
“You’re into January now, so hopefully all those parts are meshing,” Wisconsin head coach Bo Ryan told the Badgers’ official website. “What I’m hoping is that we’re maturing as a team and we can continue to move in that direction.”
Oddsmakers are giving the significant edge to Wisconsin at home on Thursday night.
Despite being the lower ranked team, the Badgers have been set as eight-point favorites over the Hoosiers on College Basketball Betting Odds at Bovada Sportsbook.
To cover, Wisconsin will need to win by at least nine points, with a seven-point win or less giving the win against the spread to Indiana.
The over/under point total for the game has been set at 126 points.
Wisconsin and Indiana tip off at 9pm ET, with coverage being picked up by ESPN.
Oddsmakers are Bovada Sportsbook are also offering live betting option for this match up throughout the course of the game.
