Fan Favorites Headline American Idol Betting Odds At Online Sportsbooks

As the competition moves forward and grows more intense with every performance, we move one step forward to crowning our next American Idol. Last week, we watched our top 12 give the performances of lifetime. Some were better than others, but all in all, it was a very entertaining night on American Idol. Heartbreak came a little early for one of our top 12 as the journey on American Idol came to an abrupt end for Lacey Brown.
Although their are a few stars that really outshine the rest of the contestants in this season of American Idol, the only guarantee to staying in the competition is if fans vote for that their favorite. Thinking that their favorite will get plenty of votes and there is no need to waste the time on the phone has landed several of the top performers in the bottom three, as well as out of the competition all together.
Lacey Brown, Tim Urban and Paige Miles made up our bottom three during last weeks results show. While every results show is delivered in a very dramatic manner from host of American Idol, Ryan Seacrest, it was not a surprise to most to see Lacey Brown in the bottom three after her performance Tuesday night. Paige Miles got respectable criticism from the judges after her performance of “Honkey Tonk Women,” but that was not enough to keep her from earning a spot in the bottom three along with Lacey and Tim.
Creating a fan base and continuing to entertain those fans is the only way to gain support from America and get them to call in. With the competition growing more and more fierce every day, now is when the performers need to step up their game and prove to America they have what it takes to be the next American Idol. From here on out, every vote counts and with the contestants running side by side in this stage of the competition, one single vote could make or break their future on American Idol.
Tuesday’s theme was originally going to consist of song selections pertaining to teen idols, luckily enough for viewers, American Idol has decided to make this weeks theme Billboard #1 hits. It will be a nice change to see these young stars singing today’s hit and acting somewhat their own age, a big difference from previous performances.
