Less Than A Week Until We Crown The Next American Idol Superstar

The stage is set for the American Idol Finale and just as expected Crystal Bowersox and Lee Dewyze are front and center. It was a very emotional evening for all three contestants. America watched as each contestant got a heart felt welcoming from friends and family from their home towns. No time to soak in the super star status that was displayed from screaming fans, it was all work and no play.
Contestants were greeted with a swarm of media, adoring fans, and a schedule that would be hard for anybody to keep up with. From signing autographs, to giving concerts and making public appearances, the trip home for the American Idol was anything short of a vacation.
Back in Hollywood, it was back to business. Wednesday night was a night full of emotions from tears of joy to tears of sadness. Host of American Idol, Ryan Seacrest, did as he normally does and stretched the results of elimination night out right to the very end. The American Idol stage is the last place anyone wants to be the last man standing. That happened to Casey James Wednesday night as he was left with the least amount of votes, ending his journey on American Idol.
Casey accepted the news with a smile on his face. He thanked his fans for getting him as far as they did and took the stage for the last time as a contestant of season 9 of American Idol. We are sure to see many good things to come from Casey James in the future.
From the start of Season 9 of American Idol, Crystal has been labeled at the contestant most likely to be named the Next American Idol, according to entertainment betting odds listed at some of the top online sportsbooks. But Lee certainly made a fast leap to the top and has taken the lead for contestant most likely to win.
