Online Sportsbook Changes Integrated Poker Software
March 30th, 2010 – by Glen Farmer
Online poker fans have been flocking to the online sportsbooks in order to play poker, as the tables tend to be much looser. Sportsbook.com has long had one of the best online poker rooms, as the games are incredibly profitable for the player who knows what they are doing. This poker room was once based on the Cake network, but a recent change has come in to alter the poker room in a significant way.
Rather than the Cake Poker network which Sportsbook.com is currently, on, they will be changing to the Merge Network by April 15th.
The Merge Poker network, which is flag shipped by Carbon Poker, has been long provided players with some of the best online poker software. Of all of the online poker rooms, Merge Poker has one of the best VIP programs. Their rewards program has some of the highest returns for players, and is a sharp improvement over the one found through the Cake poker network.
Sportsbook.com has announced the switch, and is ready to support players in the new software. Those who still like the Cake poker network may be disappointed, but as one of the best online sportsbooks, Sportsbook.com assures their players that this change is ultimately for the best. Those who have been accumulating rewards points will not be left out, as both the Cake network and Sportsbook.com are willing to accommodate players during the switch.
New sportsbook bonuses are expected to be launched when the change occurs, but the details, if any, have not yet been released. The switch is expected to be completed by the middle of April, and Sportsbook.com is likely to announce the changes in the week preceding the swap.
