PGA Tour Props Field Wagers On Total 2012 Major Wins for Tiger Woods And Phil Mickelson
Tiger Woods and Phil Mickelson are both in California this week for the playing of the 2012 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.
It is Mickelson’s third event of the PGA Tour season, while Woods is making his PGA Tour debut.
But the first Major championship is not for two more months, in Augusta National at the Masters.
Between Woods and Mickelson, they have seven Masters titles between them.
The Latest 2012 Master Betting Odds on online sportsbooks is favoring Woods to win his fifth Green Jacket, with Mickelson not far behind looking for win his fourth.
But in addition to the odds to win the Masters, PGA Tour Prop Odds at Bovada Sportsbook are fielding wagers on Woods and Mickelson and their 2012 Major Championship performance on the whole.
Specifically, just how many Major victories will the two individual players have during the 2012 PGA Tour season.
Woods i going off at -200 to win no Majors is 2012 as the betting favorite, with exactly one title set at +200.
Woods has not won a Major championship since his 2008 U.S Open triumph at Torrey Pines.
Mickelson last won a Major championship at the 2010 Masters, but is set at -500 not to win a Major this season, considerably more than Woods.
The odds for the lefty to win exactly one major is set at -333.
A Grand Slam?
One thing is for certain, and that is that oddsmakers are expecting Woods to have his best season in quite a while, coming off of a year in which he rebuilt his swing with coach Sean Foley.
Woods has said that he will likely play in more tournaments prior to going into the Masters this season, as evidence by Woods’ first appearance at Pebble each this week for the first time in 10 years.
