32- There will be football this season after all, as the players and owners reached a new collective bargaining agreement that ended the lockout on Monday afternoon. It was the longest work-stoppage in the history over the league, lasting over four months. But now, beginning this week teams will be able to sign rookies, make trades and eventually sign free agents in the coming days and weeks. While the Hall-of-Fame game was canceled, the rest of the preseason will go off as scheduled. That will be begin on Aug. 11, with the regular season beginning on Thursday, Sept. 8 when the Green Bay Packers and the New Orleans Saints meet. Oddsmakers continue to get in on the action for the upcoming season, fielding Super Bowl XLVI Betting Odds. As the season draws closer and the teams begin to move their free agents, more betting lines will be formulated relating to conference, division and other prop betting lines.

6/1 – The Sprint Cup Series moves to Brickyard this week at Indianapolis Motor Speedway for one of the biggest races of the season.
