Talk Of Regis Philbin’s Replacement Sparks Talk At Online Sportsbooks

Since the early 1960′s one talk show and game show host has found his way into the hearts of viewers worldwide – Regis Philbin. Saying goodbye to Regis Philbin will be a very emotional time for both fans and co-host of Live With Regis and Kelly,  Kelly Rippa. Regis is an American icon, media personality, actor, singer, and, of course, the face of one of America’s favorite morning talk shows, Live With Regis & Kelly. Regis has been labeled as  “the hardest working man in show business” and has even made a name for himself in the Guinness World Record as the man who has spent the most time in front of a television camera. His up close and personal approach to television has made him a beloved media personality that is now and will forever be loved by the viewing audience.

This past January, Regis Philbin announced his plans to retire, leaving Kelly Rippa without a morning sidekick. Some thing that the show will simply not be the same with out the love/hate relationship between the spunky hosts, who are also very close friends. The tit for tat duel between Kelly and Regis is what makes the show so entertaining and to think that instant chemistry will be found with another co-host is not something the public is finding possible. Since the announcement was first made, speculations have been flying high as to who will replace Regis on the morning show. Online sportsbooks have complied a list of possibilities and are offering entertainment betting odds on who will side along side of Kelly in the future.

Although nothing has been confirmed at this point, some of the names of possible co-hosts include Mark Consuelos, Andy Cohen, Jeff Probst and of course Ryan Seacrest. While all would make an entertaining hour of television sitting with funny girl Kelly Rippa, it would be no surprise to see Ryan Seacrest take over yet another show, outshining Kelly herself.
