Thunder vs. Heat Game 5 NBA Finals Odds
LeBron James stepped up big once again in the NBA Finals, this time in Game 4 on Tuesday night against the Oklahoma City Thunder. But he left the crowd gasping with their hands on their heads after missing the final couple of minutes with bad cramping.
James puts up a game-high 26 points, and was just one rebound shy of a triple double. He fought the cramping during the second half, but appeared unable to walk late in the fourth quarter after knocking down a huge three-pointer to give his team the lead.
Turns out, he wasn’t needed after that. Dwyane Wade and Mario Chalmers took over for their injured teammate, holding off Oklahoma City in the final minute for a 104-98 victory.
Now, Miami is up 3-1 in the series and is just one victory from an NBA Championship. And James should be 100 percent come game time on Thursday night after getting some treatment and staying well hydrated.
Oddsmakers believe that James will get his first NBA title on Thursday.
NBA Finals Game 5 Betting Odds available at BetOnline Sportsbook have set the Heat as 3.5-point favorites over the Thunder to close out this one in just five games, not needing to return to Oklahoma City for anymore games.
As far as the betting line, Miami will need at least a three-point win to cover the bet installed. The Heat are 3-1 against the spread in these Finals, just like they are straight up on the line. Miami has covered three-straight spreads since losing the series opener.
On the moneyline, or straight up wager without the spread, the Heat are -155 favorites on the amount wagered to get the win. A wager on the moneyline on the Thunder is profiting +135 on the payout.
The over/under has been set at 193.5 points for Game 5.
Miami and Oklahoma City will play Game 5 on Thursday night at 9pm ET, with coverage picked up by ABC.
