Tim Urban’s American Idol Journey Ends During The Wednesday Night Elimination

It was a long time coming for American Idol contestant Tim Urban, as he was finally sent home on Wednesday night’s elimination round. Tim Urban is no stranger to the bottom three and it has surprised American and the judges that he has managed to stay in the competition this long. Although there was large Tim Urban fan base, you can not help but wonder if his good looks had something to do with it since the talent area was lacking.
Wednesday night was not only about sending another idol hopeful home, but it was also about the well known charity program, Idol Gives Back. Idol Gives Back has raised millions of dollars which will go to assist many people throughout the world. A good portion of the proceeds go to assist in the health of children, which every country is in serious need of. Some of the biggest names in the entertainment industry showed up to show their support to Idol Gives Back. Some of those names include former Idol winner and now superstar Carrie Underwood. Carrie has been involved in Idol Gives Back since her start on the show several seasons back. Carrie uses her fame to bring awareness to many organiations in need of financial help and/or volunteers.
Carrie is not the only one using her fame for the better good. Black Eyed Peas, Jeff Beck, Mary J. Blige, Annie Lennox , Joss Stone and even the President of The United States Barack Obama delivered a message encouraging the people to open their hearts and show some supports for charities that are much in need.
We will see some great shows as we inch closer to crowning the next American Idol and continuing the Idol Gives Back journey which is set to help a countless amount of people all over the world.
