The 2011 NBA Finals have reached a critical section of the series. Game 6 is tonight in Miami and there is so much riding on tonight’s matchup for both the Maimi Heat and the Dallas Mavericks. The Heat must get a win to force a Game 7 and a loss would leave them falling short of reaching what a few of the Heat players had promised, the first of many NBA titles.
Two of the the league’s biggest stars are seeking their first NBA Championship in Dirk Nowitzki and LeBron James. Nowitzki is nearing the end of his career and has fallen short of getting the title despite being so close. They let the Heat rally back from a 2-0 deficit in 2006 to win it all and then made an early exit the following year in the first round after winning almost 70 games during the regular season.
As for James, well things did not work out well enough for him in Cleveland so he decided to take his talents to Miami to team up with Dwayne Wade and Chris Bosh to form the heralded Big Three. All the makings for a championship lie in the Heat’s roster so why are they one loss away from ending their dream season? Many critics fault James and his lack of performance in the final quarter of the first five games in this series. He has only 11 points total in the five 4th quarters of the series which is hard to believe from a former MVP of the NBA.
These two teams are loaded with talent which is why they are where they are today. The Heat boast a much younger team while the Mavs bring seasoned veterans to the court when they play. Whether or not they are young or old, the stars who represent these two teams are exciting to watch and wager on as well.
Sports bettors have had many bets to wager on in this series and Game 6 is no exception. Bodog sportsbook has listed some great player prop bets that are sure to intrigue all those who enjoy the thrill of wagering on NBA games.
