By now you probably know what Teasers bets are and know exactly how to find them. Well some sites around the web even offer a new kind of Teaser bet called Special Teasers or mostly referred to as “Sweetheart Teasers.” These bets are very similar to standard Teasers in that you can add points to your bets. The difference is you have to add 10 points or 13 points depending on what sport you bet on at Offshore Sportsbooks.

This definitely adds a whole new aspect to sports betting as well as Teaser bets. It makes it a little tricky, but a little easier if you pick the right bet. For Football Sweetheart Teaser Bets, you have either three or four team picks. If you decide to pick 3 teams, you can have a 10 point tease. If you go with four teams, they will let you have a 13 point tease. Now let me show you exactly how it works.

Let us say we go with a 3 team NFL Sweetheart Teaser bet. We decide to pick St. Louis Rams (-6), Miami Dolphins (+6) and Miami Dolphins vs. Buffalo Bills (Over 35). The Sweetheart Teaser essentially allows you to add 10 to all your bets. So now you have Rams (+4), Dolphins (+16) and Dolphins vs. Bills (Over 25). With this flexibility in the bet, it makes it a little easier to hit some of these Teasers. Instead of the Rams having to win by 6 the bet makes it possible for them to now lose by 4. Dolphins can win or cannot lose by more than 16 and the over for the Dolphins vs. Bills game can now be over 25 instead of 35.

With this kind of flexibility with numbers, some people find the Sweetheart Teasers their favorites. With Sweetheart Basketball bets, it is very similar. If you pick 3 teams in your Sweetheart Teaser bet you get 8 points, if you pick four teams you get 10 points. So if we decide to make a 3 team Sweetheart Teaser with Orlando Magic (-6), Golden State Warriors vs. San Antonio Spurs (Under 199) and New York Knicks (+6). The 3 game Sweetheart Teaser allows you to add 8. So now you have Magic (+2), Warriors vs. Spurs (Under 189) and Knicks (+14).

Overall the Sweetheart Teaser bet is a great way to increase you odds of hitting a nice bet at Online Sportsbooks. It does have some drawbacks though. The payout for a 3 team Sweetheart bet is 10/11 while the 4 team Sweetheart bet is 5/6. Another drawback of the Sweetheart bet is that fact that a push, which usually gets your money back, means a loss. In a regular Parlay a push usually just gives pay while knocks you down one team. Also note that there are no Betting Sweetheart Teasers for baseball.
